Dual PVR-150s, only one IR blaster works. ;-( SageTV 5.0....
I have been running my SageTV 5 server with a single PVR-150 with no issues. I can change channels on my satellite receiver with no problems.
Today I added a second satellite receiver and a PVR-150. I am able to get video in as a second tuner (Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture #2 S-Video), but I can't get the IR blaster on the second PVR-150 to do anything. I never see the LED on the IR Blaster do anything as I do on the first PVR-150. I know the hardware works, because if I swap the IR LEDs, the working IR blaster follows the first PVR-150. The second PVR-150 has the "Tuner Control" set to "Hauppauge IR Blaster StubDevice" just as the first PVR-150 does. The first PVR-150 is still changing channels without any problems. Any ideas how to get the second PVR-150's IR blaster to work? Is it even possible? |

The Hauppauge IR software cannot use the remote receiver or IR blaster on 2 cards in the same PC at the same time.
I don't have one of those blasters, so it all depends on whether a single blaster can be configured in the Hauppauge software to control more than one box... which I doubt it can do, though. You might want to consider a USB-UIRT since it can control multiple devices. - Andy

Thanks - I've ordered my USB-UIRT. Will get it and try it out!
