Debugging with a wiz.bin from a different Sage install

I am trying to debug an issue with the recording list in my SageMC plugin, and asked the user to send me his wiz.bin and Sage property file. But Sage seems to remove all show entries from the wiz.bin at startup. I already tried to create 'fake' files in the recording directory to match the original media files, but I still get

So, is there any way to debug Sage with a wiz.bin file that hasn't been generated on the same machine without actually having the original mpg files ?

I _think_ there is a property that could be used to prevent having missing recordings removed, but I might be wrong about its purpose. You could try:

seeker/disable_video_directory_verifications=true
or:
wizard/disable_maintenance=true

No promises about what they will do; use at your own risk.

Thanks Andy, I tried both but they didnt make a difference. But this motivated me to look at some other settings, and finally I figured out that I had "make_all_mediafiles_local=true", after changing that back to false it now keeps the recording entries ...
