If you set background as current tvshow

If you set background as current tvshow and connect with placehsifter, the service on the server consume 100% of cpu and placeshifter freeze. If you shut the service down, and start sagetv apps, there is no problem.

I had to set the backgroud to blue on placehsifter and it is working.

If I press watch tv now on place shifter, same thing happen. The service consume 100% of cpu and placeshifter freeze.

I have wintv pvr USB2

I suggest getting tech support to help you. It's not suppose to do that, at least not with mine.

I had previous problems with CPU pegging to 100%, I would try exiting SagetV and moving the sage.properties out of the SageTV folder, then restart SageTV and run throught the configuration wizard again. It will create a new sage.properties file, see if that makes any difference.
