Sage properties
I tried to use placeshifter and was past the trial period and now everything (changes) seems to be written to sageclient instead of sage.properties. Is there a way to change this so everything is again written to sage.properties Thanks

sage client is used when sage is in service mode and you're running on the same machine.

You mean for SageTV running on your server PC? If you are using service mode, the UI portion will use sageclient.properties.

The service uses sage.properties & the UI uses sageclient.properties -- this is covered towards the bottom of p. 16 in the v5 manual, with more details in Appendix A. Certain settings are always stored in sage.properties, but as long as you make those changes via the UI, the STV handles it automatically.
