Moving SageTV Recordings to another DIR

I have 2 Video Recording directories on 2 different disks.

I copied the files from one dir to the other as per FAQ instruction and now the files are strangely listed in the Video Import Library.

I have backups of the situation before the move so I can revert back but I really would want to move the files across....

Any ideas how to get the to appear in the SageTV Recording and in the archive?

In Setup there is something that says Refresh Imported Media. Also, if you are running SageTVService you can always restart it.

If you move the files while SageTV (or the service) is still running, there is a chance that it will see the new files before it notices that the old one were removed, so it works best to close SageTV completely before moving files like that. If you did close SageTV before moving the files, also note that it works better in more recent versions of SageTV than in pre-v4 versions.

The only other thing I can think of is to make sure an EPG update isn't about to occur. If is, I think you can set wizard/disable_maintenance to true to prevent the removal of some airings from the database when things are being updated.

I am not running the service and I exited SageTV fully.

I am running 5.03 the next EPG update was 14h hours away.

I will try disable_maintenance=true and see how it goes.
