How about adding user rights?

I'd like to be able to add a username, which can only watch recorded shows, for example. Any thought to adding this as a feature?

Well, you already can do this now if you are familiar with Studio. Remove all functionality that you dont want to have accessible from the STV and assign this custom STV to the user.

?, I know about tweeking an STV to remove unwanted features, but how do you assign that STV to a specific user in SageTV or SageTVclient. I know you can do that in the placeshifter.

I have assigned a specific STV to an MVP, but that applies to everybody that uses it.

Just did a "new posts" search and saw it. I ASSumed that it was the normal request for user accounts.

I've not used Studio yet, or got into customizing STV's. But now that I know of someting I want to do can be done with it, I'll have to get more Sage savy. I have to say, this has got to be the most usefull software I've ever purchased. When a placeshifter client for my iPAQ gets written (see http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16667), I'm going to have so many friends jumping in on this as well.
