What can cause this type of image problem?
I have recently noticed a bad image coming from my 350 tuner. I suspect that it may be the tuner going bad but would like to rule out the possibilty of it being software. I am not sure if tearing is the correct term but that I what I call it unless someone else has a better term. It is jagged edges most noticed on edges between dark and light parts of the image. This problem appears to be in the recording because it is present using different methods of viewing the video. I do not see the problem with the 250 tuners. Is tearing the correct term for this? Anyone seen this type of problem before? Any ideas about how to prove that it is hardware or software?

If your other tuners are OK then it could be the 250 tuner going bad or a specific problem with the coax that feeds the signal to the 350.
Looks like the tuner is not tuning the correct frequency or the signal is bad.
