Half Height PCI Express Good HDTV Video Cards?

Looking to build a very small client out of something like a dell xps 200 or something of similiar size. From reading on the forum the Nvidea 7600 cards offer very good playback. But I think this is a full height card correct? I was wondering if there are any good options for a half height pci express slot which seems to be the norm for these small cases.

Thanks

Darin

Not the answer your looking for, but Silverstone recently released a PCI express riser card, which would allow some flexibility for maybe a 2-3U sized case.

I would like a small form factor for the sage client. Any ideas of a barebones system that is still small, but can accomodate a full height card? Not a real pc builder type of person but could probably do OK adding graphics card/hard drive/ OS install.

Thanks for your comments.

One of the systems locate here

may be able to meet your needs and have room for a full size card.

Personally, I prefer to use a micro-ATX board and smaller HTPC cases. So I can't really offer much input on a "true" small-form factor system .

Sorry

Those all look very interesting. You mentioned you prefer the micro atx case. As somone that doesn't know the difference, could you point me to a link of those? Also, what advantage does the micro atx offer?

Thanks again.

Actually, it was microATX board, or "motherboard", not microatx case. Just clarifying for you :-)

These are smaller and many times a case will say it only supports microatx, due to the case only having so much available space.

I recently bought a gigabyte micro-atx board with on-board digital audio out, and I simpy use a pcix card instead of the on-board video.

and am putting it in
