Timeline out of sync - bug ?
I was watching a world cup game live the other day, and after watching for a while I stopped the playback. When I returned to the TV half an hour later and resumed the game (by selecting 'Play' on the show in the recordings menu), I noticed after a few minutes that I was suddenly watching Live again (missed one goal, doh ), the soccer game time showed 65 min, but the Sage timeline on the OSD showed 35 min (roughly where I left off before). After I stopped once more and selected "Restart from beginning" the timeline was in sync again.
Is this a bug I should report ? Dirk |

Yes, I think this is a known bug. SageTV sucks for watching live sports games. Of course, it affects any show that you watch live, not just sports. This is the bug as you described:
When you are watching a live recording, if you hit stop at some point and later play it again, then the timeline indicator is in the correct position of where you stopped watching and appears to be continuing from that point, but the playback is actually LIVE, meaning it moved all the way to the end of the recording buffer. The work around is when you start the playback again, quickly hit the Rewind (10 sec) button, and it will start playback correctly where you left off. SageTV should fix this bug. There's a thread about this somewhere, but I can't find it at the moment.
