Sharp Aquos lc-26d40u 1080i?

I just got this TV and I'm using it with SageClient...

I've got it setup at 720p right now, but the text ti far too big. I would like to use 1080i, but the screen is flickering constantly.

Also with it set to 720p, I get a one pixel jump up/down at random times.

Any help from the experts out there would be great.

I am trying to use this tv as a computer monitor primarily.

Thanks
Steve

The native resolution of that set is 1366x768, anything other than that will be sub-optimal.

thanks Stanger!

I tried to setup a custom resolution and it fails saying that it is invalid?

EDIT: this is on an Nvidia 7600GT, if it is of concern

I had to install a different nvidia driver, as the latest beta would not let me add 1366 x 768.

With the latest official released drivers I have added 1368 x 769, 1366 x 768 does not work.

But the problem now is that the tv is flickering like mad. Definately unusable like this.

Any further suggestions??

Thanks
Steve

Might want to check AVS forum, 1366x768 seems to be a tricky resolution. I'm lucky to have a 1280x720p display that "just works".
