How do categories work?
I'm trying to evaluate SageTV without the benifit of a compatable TV tuner.
 Are categories automatically assigned or are they definable and selectable when you set up a recording event? One big list is a problem for me.Thanks, Rick

The category of an airing is defined in the EPG data, so the show should have it assigned already.
What wdo you want to do with the category? Maybe someone can offer a suggestion about it. - Andy
