Sage crashes on initial tuner setup
Hi, I just formatted & reinstalled windows & SageTV. My hardware setup stayed the same & sage used to work fine. I can't get all the way through the initial setup.
During tuner setup, Sage crashes back to desktop instantly every time, no matter which of the three tuners I choose to try. system info : + I have a PVR-500, a PVR-250, use an ATI 9700 Pro & have an Athlon XP 2600+ + i did not install anything from hauppauge but the base drivers for the 500 & 250, which i integrated into my xp install disc using nlite. They do show up properly in the device manager. + i'm using the latest ATI drivers & the Catayst control center (6.6 i think?) + i did not install Windows Media Player with windows, if that matters If you need any info, just ask & thanks in advance. I've missed days more recordings than I had planned on so I need to get up & running again! Thank you!!! |

Turning on debug logging may help determine what is happening. Support may be able to offer better suggestions with a log.
It may be worth installing the Hauppauge software to determine whether the tuners are working correctly in the first place. - Andy

Ok, I'll go turn on logging and report back. Thanks posting for the link. I'm trying to avoid installing any unnecessary software, but i guess that may have to be the next step.
