DVD with PowerDVD 5.0

OK, my setup is as follows:

Epia 10000M Nem core
256Mb memory
Power dvd 5
Sage 4.10

When watching a DVD with hardware acceleration on i get a (very very) slight stutter every about 3 seconds (through either Power DVD or Sage).

This goes away in Power DVD when i switch off hardware acceleration, but remains in Sage TV, even though i am using the Power DVD codec

Changing to any of the MPEG options through detailed setup (A,C or D) causes Sage to not open the DVD (i get a blue MPEG stream can't connect, or something like that).

Two questions I seek answers to if you would be so kind..

1) Does anyone else with an EPIA board using Power DVD 5.0 notice this slight disturbace every 3 secs or so when harware encoding is switched on?(very small but once you notice it you can see its there)

2) How come switching off hardware acceleration solves the problem in Power DVD but not in Sage, even though the same codec is been used?

Any ideas would be very much appreciated,

Thanks,

Matt

P.S i also use the Power DVD decoder for normal Sage viewing (i.e. non DVD viewing) and i have absolutely no problems with these files either with hardware encoding on or off...hmmmm
