Conflict Management Bug

Ok first I would like to say I am not in a 12 step program I just record TV for a whole bunch of people...My Roommate, Myself, My fiancee, my Fiancees parents, my parents....

I have a ton of favorites and I came across and interesting conflict issue with my favorites and the only way I could fix it was to change the favorites for this Friday to Manual Records.

EDIT: The problem is that SageTV says that it has a conflict
trying to record all the favorites listed below and wants
me to not record one even though as you can see it
can easily record all if them, even if it is not right away.
It seems that the problem is related to Build Your Wine
Cellar on DIY which can only be recorded on PVR3 and the
fact that all my favorites are padded start and stop for 2
minutes.

Here is the list of Favorites:

Build Your Wine Cellar on DIY 7:28 to 8:02 PM
Joan of Arcadia on CBS 7:58 to 9:02 PM
House Rules on TBS 7:58 to 9:02 PM or 12:58 PM to 2:02 AM
Miss Match on NBC 7:58 to 9:02 PM
Grounded for Life on WB 8:58 to 9:32 PM
Myth Busters on Discovery 8:58 to 9:02 PM or 11:58 PM to 1:02 AM
Good Eats 11:28PM to 12:02 AM or 3:28 AM sat to 4:02AM
Karen Sisco on USA 11:58 PM to 1:02 AM - EDIT Now a favorite

My encoders are as follows:

Encoder Priority Available Channels
==============================================
PVR1 1 Analog Cable all Channels above except for DIY
PVR2 3 Analog Cable all Channels above except for DIY
PVR3 2 Digital Cable all Channels above
PVR4 4 Analog Cable all Channels above except for DIY

I figured that SageTV would Figure out that it could record all those favorites without a problem. All it had to do was record Build Your Wine Cellar and Grounded for Life on the Digital Cable BOX on PVR3. By Manually recording it figured this out.

I also tried removing the merit by setting it back to 0 for all cards and it still could not resolve the issue.

Any ideas why Maually recording these things works and Favorites does not?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that PVR3 is a network encoder.
I am also including my schedule file as it shows an
unusual behavoir. Even though House Rules is airing
just a little later and the Show IDs are the same time
the manual recording and the favorite are both scheduled
to record.

Thanks,
John

I can't identify what the problem is your having. Something not recording as soon as it should?

Do you have any of those favorites padded?

I edited the first to explain the problem better...but yes I pad all favorites and manual recordings by 2 minutes on each side.

I would guess it is your padding. I had a similar issue with Enterprise and jake 2.0. Both were padded, so Sage would try and get Enterprise later in the week. I removed the padding then they both record on the earliest night now.

I am sure that would solve the problem but a big part of the reason I have 4 PVR cards is that I hate missing the begining and ending of shows as none of the shows I watch seem to start at the right time. I have no problem with them recording later, in fact I almost prefer it some times, but in this case SageTV can't figure that out at all. It was not going to record one of the above shows even though 2 of them could be recorded a few hours later.
