Some Mp3 tags not recognized

Hi, I imported all of my mp3s but 7 or 8 entire albums are showing up under a "blank" listing in "artist view", like their artist tags aren't being recognized. I've opened & re-saved the tags in Mp3Tag 2.36 but they still show up as having no artist. At least some of them were encoded in itunes if that matters.

Any ideas?

If you're certain that they are tagged correctly, the only thing left to do is to rescan the library.

I have cleared out the media library & reimported my collection a few times but the same albums show up as having no artist. I'm not sure what itunes tags are "supposed" to look like but the ones I see look like jibberish... so maybe they've been corrupted? I'll try removing those fields & see if I have better luck.

solved!

i deleted the 3 itunes fields from the tags and now they show up properly. weird that sage wouldn't just have overlooked them

ok, spoke too soon. it fixed a few of the albums but i'm still working on the rest which do not have itunes tags.
