Unofficial Sage 2 thread

Well in order to keep the official thread that is stickied clean for the mods (read owners). I decided to start a thread down here for sounding off on sage 2.

I am looking forward to this being my first verision of sage. I am waiting for the pvr 250 hardware bundles to come back in stock. I think by them time this happens, the EPG roll out will be complete and sage 2 should be ready to go. I am really looking forward to getting this.

How exactly are they out of stock? When I ordered my bundle a few weeks ago, the card shipped direct from the mfg. Can Hauppauge cannot keep up with demand?

My god, man! What are you recording, and how many hard drives do you have?

Wow.

Well I have 486GB of drive space over 7 hard drives.

The list of shows I am recording is to long to list...but also the problem is that my roommate and I have very different tastes so we are recording shows on AE, TLC, FOODTV, NBC, ABC, CBS, WB, DISCOVERY, BBC America, All the STARZ and ENCORE, DIY, TECHTV, SPIKETV, HGTV, PBS. I also seem to end up recording stuff for others and dumping them on a DVD. When some one knows that all you have to do is click one button on a remote to schedule something to record and they would have to get the VCR programmed and make sure a Tape was in the VCR then their choice is very easy, call me

Also my house become the place to watch NBC thursday line up since we can fast forward comercials and pause to get food, beer, grab a smoke, whatever. Oh well half the reason I set up my home theatre stuff was to entertain friends I guess I can't complain too much that I have achieved my goal.

John
