PVR-150 Driver for Tweak Tool & Motion Blur

Had my Rig working great until hard drive crash, new PC, etc...
I'm not sure which driver I was using, but it wasn't the one on the CD, and I had Tweaked everything, including the use of Graph Edit. I've tried several newer drivers to take advantage of updates and potential picture quality improvements, but none of them seem to let me adjust for the kind of picture I had before. I set spatial on 0 or 1 and temporal on 2 or 4, sharpness cranked all the way, and 255 in Sage.

Can someone recommend a driver, tweak tool version, settings, and installation procedure (removal, etc...)? Please include the Contrast and brightness settings.

I've still got some other bugs, but I can tell when I play back a program recorded on the old system vs. a new recording, the newer one is not that great.

Are you changing temporal and spatial settings under the individual encoders or trying to use the overall setting? With the newer drivers the overall setting doesn't work.

If I understand what you mean, I think I've tried both ways. There is a tab in TweakTool150 that let's you change volume settings, spatial, temporal, sharpness, and other items. Then I believe there is an Advanced area with a drop down menu where you pick the PVR150.

I don't know if it's the Hauppauge driver / setup, or the Sage software, but the latest problem is that the IR remote will not change the channel on the DirectTV box (which has never been a problem before). It does change it perfectly within the IR Config program; problem is only when using it with Sage. Volume control on remote also doesn't work since Sage ver. 5. In fact, I've had problems of one kind or another ever since moving up from ver 2.1. Now I'm afraid I can't go back due to Wiz.bin file would be incomplete.

Would appreciate any ideas. Have tried re-installing Sage, but I did not uninstall first and it only gave me the option to "repair". Should I back up wiz.bin, uninstall Sage, re-install Sage, run HCW clear and try another Hauppauge driver? Another wierd thing was the green power button that always sent Sage into and out of standby quit working - it would standby, but not wake. Reverted to a previously backed up version of irrremote.ini and it solved that problem, but not the channel or volume problem.

And of course I still have the motion blur issue - which is a pain because I had no issue with it all for almost 2 years.
