Wireless MVP in Canada

With the Canadian dollar up there, has anyone ordered the Wireless MediaMVP and Licence bundle for 159.99. What was the total cost, assuming it was sent via USPS and there was a minimal brokerage fee. Seems the Wireless is 170+ in Canada.

Thanks in advance

Wireless MVP & Sage DOES NOT WORK

You ABSOLUTLEY DO NOT want the wireless MVP (for SageTV). It does NOT work (at all) unless you use it with a gaming adapter (which kinda defeats the point of buying a wirless MVP). See the poll/posts listed in the Hardware Section. Don't make the same dumb mistake I did (buying too soon).

Unless there is a fix soon, I expect returns galore with the wireless MVP.

Smarty,

It may be nothing to do with the wireless MVP...it may just not be possible in your area...

I had a wired MVP running over a wireless bridge for a while. It worked...barely. Lots of freeze-ups & reboots.

My wireless phones caused it to freeze, and ocassionally reboot.
My microwave consistently caused a reboot.
My neighbors wi-fi would make it stutter insane.
The thing would randomly stutter for no reason I could determine.

I tried various wireless channels, configs, and locations within the room...finally found an area just barely tolerable....then I got off my lazy butt and wired the damn thing.

Night and day change. Now it works flawlessly, NEVER reboots, never stutters, nothing. Works nearly as good as the client on my PC (remote is a little slow though)...

I suspect they will never have a wireless version that works for everyone...I basically agree with the quote from evilpenguin on another thread:
