No streaming server found

Hi. I ordered an ethernet MediaMVP from SageTV, but I can't get it to connect to my SageTV Server. I've tried installing my license key and uninstalling it several times and SageTV Server doesn't seem to have a problem with that. The first time I installed it I think I left my SageTV service running but since then I've stopped that when adding the key. I've tried looking for the server with the SageTV interface running on the computer and with it not running.

What am I missing? Is there any way I can get into the MediaMVP via telnet, ssh, ping, etc.?

My SageTV computer is running Windows 2003 with the firewall off.

OK well I figured it out. My DHCP server seems to have a problem where devices using the automatically assigned addresses can't be accessed by other devices, which means they effectively can't browse the network. Or something like that. I assigned it a static IP (via DHCP) on my linux-based router and it works now. I guess I have that other problem to solve though, but that's unrelated to SageTV.
