Back to back favorites. #2 starting late

Anyone have an idea aboput this?

I have "Remove padding" option enabled.

"My Name is Earl" followed immediately by "The Office"

Earl records fine, but first two to three minutes of The Office is gone.

Why would Sage hesitate to start recording the next program which is essentially a continuation of the first?

I had to disable the padding option to force recording on different tuners to work around.
