Weird Crash

Hi there

I recently installed this product SageTV 5.0 and I had it working on a previous hard drive.

I got a new hard drive and installed it yesterday and now every third or fifth time i tune to a new station using the guide--the program crashes my entire computer. (Blue screen "kmode exception not handled")

what is theproblem?

okay yah, not sure i'm impressed with this program.

very nice UI and functionality but...
for basic "channel surfing"...way too jerky and after a while, i start getting BSOD's when trying to tune to shows from the guide!!!!!!

The BSOD's always blame "hcwPVRP2.sys" but not sure why? anyone?


i have all the latest drivers for anything..not sure what is wrong.

Is this your problem? If so it's a compatibility problem between your motherboard and hard drive, which would make sense because the problem didn't start until you put the new hard drive into the system.
