What is the difference?
When I go to select my video decoder in Sage I have two Nvidia options.
Nvidia Video Decoder and
Nvidia Video Post Processor

What is the difference between the two?

Server: AMD 3800 X2, 2GB PC3200 Ram, Hauppage PVR-500, 256 MB Geforce 7300 GS.
Client: Compaq R4000 laptop-AMD 64 bit 3800+, 1GB PC2700 Ram, ATI x200 express.

usually, the first one (Video Decoder) is used. The second one (Post Processor) is more cpu intensive as it does more processing. I forget what exactly are the processing but its more advance stuffs. More on purevideo here.

Nvidia Video Decoder is hardware assisted and Nvidia Video Post Processor is done in software. Other than that I've never known what the differences were.

Am I correct? "Nvideo Video Decoder is hardware assisted..' is true if you have Nvideo brand hardware.

No, it works with other video cards as well.
