at root menu of DVD movie, can move cursor, but can't select (play movie)??

Hello. I recently upgraded to the newest version of SageMC (i'm not sure if this is causing my problem or not)

I'm trying to play a DVD movie. 28 Days Later to be specific. I'm in the root menu, and I can move the selection up and down the menu:
"Play Movie"
"Language Selection"
"Scene Selection"
"Special Features"

but, I can't select the menu item.. I tried hitting enter and space bar, etc, but nothing will work...
