Placeshifter bug... or not
I'm not complaining, mind you...
I installed sagetv. I installed placeshifter on a remote pc. I bought sagetv and registered it. I used placeshifter only as a trial. I had problems with sagetv and did an fdisk on the pc. now, several weeks (month) later, placeshifter still works on that remote pc. Again, not complaining. I don't really use it. It's on my work computer and I was gonna use it simply to remotely schedule recordings until I got the web browser working. just sayin' is all...

I believe you also have an MVP Media Extender. The MVP & Placeshifter licenses are interchangeable. So, as long as you aren't using your MVP, Placeshifter will work & vice versa.
