Does the linux version require a desktop manager..
like Gnome or KDE?
I'd rather not have to use any, if it's possible. Oh, and can you transfer your wiz files across platforms (from windows to linux)? |

You don't need a window manager, the install cd doesn't install one.
I think you can transfer you wiz files but I have never tried it. _Demo_ |

I've transferred my wiz.bin file in the past, in order to keep my favorites and viewing history. I didn't worry about the recordings -- they were still listed, since it couldn't read their paths to check file existence, so I just deleted the recordings via the Delete command to remove their entries.
