Question Another Pause Question

I have the same issue as others have posted when watching live TV - after the show I'm watching is over, there's a 3-4 second pause while Sage creates a new file. I frequently watch live TV over Sage because I love having the guide to tell what's on (I have basic cable, and don't have a TV Guide channel).

I understand the need for recording live TV for timeshifting, but when watching live TV, I could care less if each program is captured in a separate file. Is there a way to just have a "rolling" file on the hard drive that just keeps recording until you're done watching live TV? Could this be put in as an option, or would it be too hard to implement?

Thanks!
Xig

No, its not possible, and I wouldn't really expect this to change anytime soon. I see more like 2-3 seconds pausing between shows. If each show wasn't captured in a separate file, I think it would be difficult/impossible if you wanted to make it into a manual recording...
