Chicago and Local Broadcast

So I have done everything I can think of and now I am hoping that someone else out there has fixed this issue. In the guide, all the local channels according to zap2it and TitanTV come up without an issue. Clicking throught the channels show that all of the channels have a good strong signal. However, no matter what I do the following channels always show No Data. So I can not record shows.

11-2 WTTW-DT
20-2 WYCC 2
26-3 WFBT
38-2 PAX
38-4 i West
38-5 TLN
44-1 WSNS-DT
60-1 WXFT DT
66-1 WGBO DT

Some one mentioned in another thread they thought it was bug and would be fixed in 5.1 I can not imagine everyone in Chicago just has had No Data for these channels all this time without a fix. Can someone give me a heads up on the issue and whether they know of a way to get this guide data?

I would even consider a different guide if it will work and someone can point me in the right direction.

I apologize ahead of time if this is the wrong area to ask this, but you guys seem the most informed. I am using SageMC and love it. However, my ongoing Sage issue is that I have a few channels that give No Data. So basically no guide data. I have tried everything I can think of in the forum and have even worked with support a bit, but manually adding the channel with station id has not changed the No Data.

So here is my question: Is there a different guide data I can use with SageMC? I have been looking at XMLTV items throughout the thread but not sure which one to go with to even begin understanding how to implement it. In addition if they all use zap2it it might not even help, and I do not want to have to reinstall Sage again...

Any help or direction would be really appreciative. On a side note, I installed BeyondTV to see if it had issues and the guide data came in perfect besides it using 1000 numbers for the channels.

I moved that last post out of the SageMC thread, since EPG issues (including XMLTV) are not STV related & are covered in the EPG section of the forum.

OTA channel data may not be available via the built-in guide if those OTA channels are not also part of some cable or satellite lineup that Zap2It provides to SageTV. It may be handled differently in the next version, but I don't think I an get into that & it wouldn't do you any good right this instant anyway.

Actually I just started having this problem as well. Both my analog cable and OTA HDTV channels are having No Data in them, and it looks like it happened at the last EPG update at 7pm this evening. The curious thing is that around 20% of the time, there is channel info at certain times of the day. I just forced an update, but I still get No Data.

THis may be obvious, but don't forget that you can always go to the Zap2it.com Web site and view the channel lineup there to verify that it has the channels you are looking for....

Yes I checked Zap2it and it has exactly the same channels and line up I need according to my zip and local broadcast. However, it is not coming down to my guide.

As far as in the meantime using it to record the channels I need, I have to record in 2 hour blocks when it says no data.

Opus -- No problem with moving it. I was however looking for something specifc to SageMC for guide solutions. Thought there might be a solution.

Does anyone know if I swtich to Digicasa or the following, if it changes were I get the data from so in theory it may fix my guide?

THe crazy thing is I tested BeyondTV the other night and it found all the channels and gave guide info for all of them.
