USB-UIRT Question, will this work ok?

I've got a USB UIRT on my HTPC that I use for viewing (client Sage) and looking at adding a few more tuners into that PC and using UNE to integrate them into the sage server. The USB UIRT now is a receive only in my setup, will I have any issue installing and using girder and using it both ways (still using it input, as well as firing channel changes to the STB attached to my new tuner)?

I guess what I am mainly concerned about is a situation like this: scheduled recording fires up, and sends a channel change out the USB UIRT at the same time that I might be sending in remote commands to navigate the GUI or change channels on another tuner.

BTW: The client itself can't use any blaster. I would expect that SageTV server being used as a network encoder could, so it depends on whether UNE can.

There shouldn't be any issue using the USB-UIRT as a receiver & blaster at the same time, though, since others do that often enough.

UNE has a girder option to blast the commands. But yeah, I knew the client could blast a command on its own. I guess I will just have to give it a whirl and see if I run into any conflicts. Hopefully I wont.
