Downgrading My Sage Server
Here's the deal, I am planning on actually downgrading my server. I know, sounds crazy, but right now my AMD Athlon64 is barely being taxed by everything. I have an old Athlon 1.1 ghz sitting in a closet that I have decided to try utilizing for this purpose. Here is what I am concerned about: maxing out my PCI Bus. Has anyone had any problems directly associated with maxing out their BUS? I am planning on moving all of my cards (2 - avermedia PVR150plus's, 1 PVR500, Fusion5 Lite) to my 1.1 and adding in a PCI gigabit Ethernet card (this is what worries me). I may also need to use a PCI video card (further worries me) as a temp card. Should I have any worries? My biggest concern is the gigabit ethernet card. Right now I have an integrated gigabit ethernet port and so I do not have the PCI concerns.
Any thoughts and concerns?

If it's not a VIA chipset, I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks. That is exactly what I needed to know, I believe it uses an Nvidia chipset. I am still not sure if this is what I am going to do, or if I will just buy myself a new comp, but we will see.
