Upgrade Policy to Version 2

I am just now evaluating SageTV and I noticed that version 2 is due to be released soon.

Has an upgrade policy been published, e.g, if I buy version 1.4 now, will have to pay to upgrade to 2.0?

You will not have to pay to upgrade to version 2.0.
