iTreadmill Project

The wife got this Nodic Track high tech treadmill with a TV in it. Where the treadmill is, there's no cable connection. Even if there was a cable connection, the shows she wants to see are on the digital cable. So when she asked if there was anyway she could watch Lifetime on the treadmill, I said No.

Well, I got to thinking, what if I put a media extender on the treadmill. I'm not sure viewing family pictures would inspire me to get my pump on but the TV and Music would be great.

The Nodic Track treadmill only has RF coax in. Well tack on a composite to RF converter for $20. One more thing to dangle. Ya, plus a power strip.

Unfortunately, I can't get thumbnails to show from Google without HTML being on so you'll have to view the pics on my Google Picasa site.

I must say: nicely done! I could probably use something like that to motivate myself to exercise more!

Very cool.

Next step: connect the treadmill's speed control to your gaming rig's joystick input, so you can play video games by actually running around the game world.
