Creating new plugin - Webcams
I am looking into developing a plugin for viewing Webcams on SageTV. I have written a Java application that displays webcams on your desktop for any platform in the past, so this should be very easy for me.
The difficult part will be using Studio, and identifying how to create the UI properly. Additionally, I am concerned with learning how to utilize Sage's MJPEG decoder. Does anyone have any information to help direct me? Thanks, Kevin

I think they already have done this somewhat... Look deep into forums... I think they used Sgraph recorder, to set up a webcam recorder like they do in firewire recording.

what would be cool is to have a camera somewhere out on the ethernet and tell the server about it. That way, the camera wouldn't be tied to a PC and you could have a few of them around. Then you could do a whole home security thing.
