Problem Restarting 6 After Long Periods of Inactivity?
I've found an annoying issue. If I exit Sage entirely and then try to reload it hours later, I get the two boxes warning about the trial and upgrade issues, but then Sage never starts. If I reboot, it will start fine. If I exit Sage and then reload, I can do that seemingly repeatedly. It's only the extended delay that affects the program starting.
BTW, I haven't had it loaded long enough to know that if the machine boots and then isn't used for a long period, if I'll be able to start Sage. I'll know this Monday. Ideas? |

Post your log file from a repro please. They'll more than likely give the answer.

What's a "repro?" An event where this occurs? BTW, it apparently isn't just after long periods of inactivity, for last night it happened after Sage crashed starting a file. |

I've figured out the problem is related to the SageTVTranscoder service, as mentioned in this thread:
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...d=1#post182434 If I manually stop the service, everything is fine. |

I have submitted a bug report, and saved a file. But I didn't see anyway to upload a log report.

This problem has just disappeared. I wonder if it had to search through all the files on the computer, or something, and now it's happy?
