Live TV show position with multiple clients
I'm facing the following problem when using multiple MVP clients, on Sage 5.0.4.92 and Java 1.5.0_07.
If client A is watching a particular channel of live TV, when I switch to that channel on client B, it always starts at the beginning of the show/recording instead of taking me to the current live position. So I have to FF to the end to get to the current live position. Is there any way to change this behavior, so each client always tunes to the current live position of a show, even if it's being watched on another client? This is my only major issue with Sage after using it for the past 3 months. I just noticed a setting in Sage.properties called "live_playback_is_default=false". Could this be related? Thanks! |

I have this issue as well. Server is tuned to Live TV.. If I turn on the client and select Live TV it starts at the begining of the show thats playing on the server (i.e, not live) and I have to hit Live TV again to get it back to real Live TV.. not a major issue, but annoying none the less.
Any fix for it? Time is synced with the server. I have 3 PC's. XP Server, XP Client and Vista Client. This happens on both Clients. Last edited by mfiltness; 02-16-2008 at 09:25 AM. |

I have the same issue which drags the WAF down. I programmed the "TV" button on my Firefly to go to "Live TV" so it's an easy fix. I have now told my wife what to do three times, so I fear I will need to resolve this soon.
Anyone? |
