Channel has disappeared
Hi,
One of my channels has disappeared from the guide. It is listed in channel setup as enabled but not in the guide, it is also not having things recorded from it. Has anyone had this problem? Is there a way to just reset the channel listings without messing everything up? -Matthew |

Have you changed or added any other sources? Has a lineup changed with channel(s) added to it? If so, the network may now be available on another channel number and/or on a different lineup and the channels associated with that network are now combined in the Program Guide listings.

It appears all my OTA HDTV channels just got moved to the 1500s where they would be in digital cable. Any ideas why this happened?
I guess the EPG data source moved them. How odd. -Matthew |

Now all the HD channels are not being tuned correctly. When I preview in the channel setup it shows them. Like 24-1 24-2 and preview even works. However, in the guide they are missing. There are some new channels in the 1500s but they are not working correctly as they are just static.
What is going on? I can promise I changed nothing and this is most likely an EPG data change that is effecting Sage adversely. -Matthew |

More over why are there channels in the 1500 in my guide when there are not channels with that number in my channel lineup.

Out of the five tuners I have: PVR150 --> Cable, Comcast Analog Lineup PVR500.1 --> Cable, Comcast Analog Lineup PVR500.2 --> Cable, Comcast Analog Lineup STB/firewire --> Cable, Comcast Digial Lineup (only enable the local HD channels) ATSC Tuner --> Antenna, Local Broadcast (Tried only enabling certain HD broadcasts) Let's take the example of KPIXDT (705 on the STB and 29 on the ATSC tuner). In the guide I only see channel 705. 1. Does this mean I will never be able to watch live tv using the ATSC tuner for this channel? 2. Will Sage be able to record two channels in HD? Let's say I have two favorites scheduled to record at the same time. If the STB is being used to record KGODT (707), will Sage be able to tune channel 29 on the ATSC tuner to record the other favorite on KPIXDT (29) even though it doesn't show up in the program guide? 3. In #2, what if it's using the STB to record KGODT, but I want to watch liveTV broadcast of KPIXDT? So if I select KPIXDT (705) will that require me to stop recording KGODT (707) even though technically, it can use 29 on the ATSC tuner? Thanks, Evance Last edited by emok; 01-15-2007 at 01:00 AM. |

See the note starting at the bottom of the page for the Program Guide section of chapter 3 in the PDF manual. That should explain what happens when the same network is available on multiple channel numbers & they get combined when shown on the Program Guide screen.
