Start from begining
Crazy question, I know, but I have not been able to figure out how to jump back to the begining of a Recording...is there a SendMessage number that will do this so I can program Girder ?

Here's what I do... I'm currently using a Hauppauge PVR-250 with the silver remote control. When I want to jump back to the begining of the show, I hit the stop button, hit the rewind button about 5 times, and then hit stop again, then hit play, and it will play from the begining scene. A little bit of a pain in the neck, however, it works.

Sage Does have a few different Time shifting options. You can set one of them to skip a hour or so behind. Hopefully SageTV 2 will have better Time shifting options. Likie your basic 3 speed ff/rw, I still miss that from my Tivo, I really don't like having to hold the FF button. It is a real down point of the software.

Sorry, I should have posted the solution, there's no official way, but Sage Support responded with the sugestion that I thought I might have to use, to just use girder to do a bunch of rewinds on a assigned key, not ellegant but it works !
I DO hope they put that function in, in general I think we need a few more control options. |
