Feature Req: multiple guide sources for one tuner
I've got one tuner that's capable of tuning channels that come from multiple guide data sources (my QAM tuner gets Baltimore stations that aren't in the DC guide data).
I'd like to assign both a Baltimore guide data source and the DC source to the one tuner. |

The only way this would be possible, without changes by SageTV, is to use different XMLTV sources and merge them into one lineup. This is what we do in these parts of the world where the builtin EPG feed is not available.

Interesting. Thanks, Lucas. I'll look into that option.

A while back, it was possible to change your input to have both an SVIDEO and an SVIDEO6 or something like that, then you assigned epg's to each. Both were really the same device!
Both showed in the Program guide for the device And Sage would switch to SVIDEO for one set of channels and SVIDEO6 for the other set and it was really the same device so it was seamless. I did that back in 2.2 days. And when I just installed 5.0.4, it kept the configuration. |
