LOL, can't be all that bad! OTA HD beats SD, no matter how you look at it.

I wish they would find a way to power the STB's back up after a firmware upgrade though. This makes 3 times in the past 8 months or so, that I've found out after several days, that the STB's were off! Lots of blank recordings to sort through. Luckly, if changing channels with serial, you'd notice the power light easier, than with my IR "forts" covering everything up (I've got a hole for the power light, but it's not big enough). I'd just have Sage send the power command once in a while (or Girder), but the power command is a toggle, not one for on, and another for off.

well we may be able to rev the dll to send the power command if it is not getting a response to the channel changing commands...if it already doesn't do that.

That's true, but there is no feedback when using IR...

the power thing is a real annoyance. I don't check the box everyday, so I don't know if recordings get messed up. very aggravating.

I am hoping that in the next couple of months we can get a sage client install on the PS3. Since you can install Linux on it now and its supported hopefully we will see some movement on that front.
