Set this property:
media_server/transcode_debug=true and then try again and send in your log to betatest at sagetv.com

Figured out the problem after enabling the transcode log. It seems FFMpeg couldn't find the source video. So I went to try to play the video and there were playback errors on all my recordings. I used UNC paths for recording directories and just discovered that all my network shares volumes are not accessible, it would display the error "Not enough server storage is available to process this command".
Fortunately, I seen this error before and a quick search on google revealed the IRPStackSize registry setting is too low, increasing it to 25 fixed the problem. Video Conversion works again There's still a problem with the MVP playback of some of the converted videos where the timeline is screwed or playback goes to a certain point in the video and then stops everytime. This only happens with the MVP, playback on the regular SageTV Client is fine. Also there are timeline problems with ceratin Divx videos where the timeline displays something like 3945:40:18 for current position. Here's a sample image of a Divx video playback: http://static.flickr.com/104/2952310...4c7424.jpg?v=0. That Divx video was played from SageTV Recordings, however when I played the same video from "Browse Media Files", it plays fine. look here: http://static.flickr.com/111/2952407...df112b.jpg?v=0. So there's something odd thats happening from the fact that the converted Divx video was picked up in the SageTV Recordings video. How I converted the recordings to Divx was explained here on the first post: http://forums.sage.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=20858
