MCE and Sage

Does anybody have Sage running on a pc with MCE? I know you can't have both running at the same time, but can both exist on the same box without problems? If so I need to take MCE of my machine.

Yes I have SageTV running on a MCE box with no problems. I don't use MCE anymore though since I got SageTV and myHTPC.

Hello Mike,

I also have Sage & MCE working together. Initially it was tricky getting MCE to work with the latest hauppauge drivers! After some research and finding "alternate" drivers I have both up and running stable. Just as fasttech stated though, I don't touch MCE anymore. I love the MCE interface but lack of customization as well as NO (I mean nada, zip, goose-egg) networking ability MCE is a disappointment. I do at times use the "My Music" feature of MCE when showing off to friends and family but that's about it.
If you have any questions releating MCE feel free to shoot me a PM, I'll try to answer whatever I can.

Doug

What about the MCE remote? I have read that some people have it working with Girder. Does anybody have this remote working with all buttons assignable? If so, how would I disable it so MCE doesn't launch when I hit certain buttons?
