Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that! Good luck with the new code - the DVD burning and compression methods are great Sage utilities!
For the record, I never had any problems with it, but I had to rebuild my sage system recently to upgrade it. The compression is what I'm eager for most of all, because I can make DVDs using other software. If you need any help with stuff, I'd be willing to help. I've done some coding here and there. |

Is this still a working customization?
This was still available for download and one of the reason I left BeyondTV was because there was not an easy way to burn decent DVD's with out purchasing an add on or a third party software made to work with BTV?
I followed all the steps given for install and when it did not work I decided to install SageMC and then install it again and the same thing still happens. When I go to the SageTV directory and click on "perl2dvd.exe" I get a small blank dos window with the black back ground, then after a few seconds of nothing a bunch of text zooms by then the window closes and the only thing that happens is in my Windows Task Manager I find that SageTVService.exe has started back up again and I am unable to find any evidence that the DVD feature even tried to install so I never see the setup windows mentioned! Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Paul |

I'm pretty sure it needs mpeg2 files. Where did you find 2.0d? Seems I only have 2.0a in my archives. I just wanted to set up an easy way to burn any mpeg2 recordings within Sage. I've also played around with DVDFlick which handles about any format you throw at it. It could take awhile depending on the format. Source code is out there and I was seeing if there was some way to use that as a core burner for Sage.
