A few fixes and enhancements:

• fixed Description issue with DVDProfiler 3.0 import
• import DVDProfiler roles (if supported by SageTV)
• added option to import DVDProfiler character roles into actor field (can be disabled in SageMC options)
• show actors and roles for TV shows and imported Videos in Program Info
• group single video files by folder in Video Library
• added option to create photo thumbnails in background
• execute SageMC init code on STV load, restart of UI after STV update shouldn't be necessary any more in most cases (this change *might* affect certain SageMC imports)
• if "Show only new items" in RSS ticker is enabled, save state of already displayed news items across STV restarts so that they won't get displayed again
• changed DOS-specific path separator in Theme selection code, which might fix issue on Linux (but I'm not able to confirm this since I don't run Linux)
• allow physical deletion of DVD folder (if server property directory_deletion_of_dvds_enabled is set to true)

  • To activate, open the 'Customize Screen Layout' menu (via the options menu in the Main Menu) and go to the Customize button for 'Main Menu'. Select 'Icons' as the main menu style. If you are using the dynamic main menu, you can set the style for main and sub menus independently
  • You can adjust the number of rows and columns and they will update on the fly.
  • There are also settings here to choose the selection bars to use. By default it uses the existing 'icon_empty_*.png' files when 'Folder View' is selected, but you can also choose 'Main Menu' and it will look for 'main_menu_focus.png' and 'main_menu_nofocus.png' graphics files in your theme. (This allows the icon menu can work 'out of the box' with all existing themes, but still allows full customization to be done.)
  • The last setting you will see is the time delay for the new double select (double click) functionality in the icon menu. If you double click with the mouse or double select with the remote or keyboard then the popup shortcut menu will appear when available. Single click/select behaves as usual. This setting allows the user to tune the time allowed for the second click/select to their preferences
• Added new Online Services. This is a rough first version, so there might be still some quirks with themes not matching etc. I know that people were anxiously waiting for this, that's why I tried to get it in even if it's not perfect yet

• Added: Numeric Time Jump ‘Percent’ Mode: While the TimeBar is displayed in the Video OSD, 0-9 numeric entry will seek to location number*10% (i.e. 1 = 10%, 9 = 90%) of the available timeline.
• Added: Numeric Time Jump ‘Minute’ Mode: Second time jump mode available during media playback in which you enter the time to jump to in minutes and then press FF or REW to execute the jump. This can be done at any time during playback and will not require the time bar to be visible. If a time beyond the end of the media file is entered, it will jump to 1 minute before the end of the file. This mode will be the default setting. The option to switch modes has been added to the OSD screen specific settings menu.
