Support for Zalman HD160 HTPC Display?

I am considering to buy the Zalman HD160 HTPC case and was wondering if SageTV supports the display.

Also, the case seems to have a built in IR receiver. Would that one work out of the box just as the USB-UIRT does?

Here's a review of the case:

IRTrans is the software powering the display which is supported by LCDSmartie. There are then plugins for LCDSmartie which can pull information from Sage. Did the research to find this out ages ago but never got round to setting it up.

Its a great case but also take a look at the newer HD135 which i personally think looks even better. It also has space for 6 drives and appears to have better ventilation around the bays.

HD160 user here, works well using the IR2keyboard software that I discovered yesterday

Some small problems that I think are user error, SageTV seems to record programs at will, some keypress (I can't find out what) is just recording all the time. Scan the EPG and next thing I know it is recording.

Also I couldn't get the LCD Smartie plugin to work, complaining about too many perimeters when I followed the instructions, again probably user error.

For the receiver I used HIP which works perfectly with IRTrans. I briefly tried the native MCERemote support in SageTV but not all buttons worked correctly and I didn't bother investigating it to resolution.

Have you got intelligent recording switched on?
