Favorite Being Recorded, then Mysteriously Deleted by Sage?

Using beta 6.0.15 with the latest SageMC 16x9.

Okay, Heroes was recording this evening, but after I watched another show, I came back to watch Heroes, and could not find the most recent episode, "Six Months Ago."

I know I saw it recording, so I decided to look at the debug log file (thank goodness it's enabled), and I can find it (search for "SixMonthsAgo"), and it says that Sage deleted it.

What the heck is going on? Anyone else see this? I checked to make sure the channel was okay, and it was.

This is OTA HD that it was recording on. I have 3 other episodes that have recorded in the last 3 weeks, just fine. I've attached the log file...it's kind of big.

Were you watching something else prior to 8:30? the first reference I saw to SixMonthsAgo is at 20:35, then it gets deleted at 21:03. It looks like it was a partial recording for some reason.

It airs again on Friday on SciFi.

Yeah, I just noticed that, while looking through the file. It should have started at 8PM.

The only things we have watched tonight, was Prison Break, which came on at 7PM (but there are also two HD tuners), and I Shouldn't Be Alive, which is an SD show, recorded a few days earlier. Nothing else in HD even shows up as a recent recording, at all today.

It's very strange. Thanks for the heads up, I'll go do a one time recording to pick up that episode.

I had the exact same type of problem a few betas ago. Sage support sent me an updated DShowCapture.dll that fixed my problem. It had to do with having multiple tuners in a box. Not sure if it is the "exact" same thing that you are experiencing but if it is I would very much like to see what your resolution is so that I don't experience the same thing again.

I had a similar problem about a year ago with the first episode of the show "Heist." It was on several times on more than one channel (Similar to Heros: Monday-NBC, Friday-SciFi). Sage actually recorded it and deleted it twice, then finally recorded and kept it on the 3rd airing.

I have no idea why, and I haven't seen this behavior since so I never reported it. I think it was with version 4, but I can't remember for sure. I have a 3-tuner system (2 PVR-150s and a PVR-150MCE).

Hmm...

That's interesting. I've got 4 tuners setup, a PVR-500, and two FusionHDTV5 USB's. I'll keep an eye on it...

I have two Vbox's and 2 PVR500 and it always seemed to happen when the second HD tuner kicked in. It would record 1 HD and 1 SD stream fine but when the seconf HD stream would start, the first one would end and the recording would get deleted. I sent my log to support and they were able to identify it quickly.

It wouldn't happen consistently and I was afraid to miss something so I sent it in quickly.

I think this is still the issue. Sage doesn't seem to know that I have two FusionHDTV USB's in my system. I was recording one HD show, and one SD show, tried to watch another HD show live, and it asked me if I wanted to cancel the currently recording HD show, or not watch what I was telling it to do.

Is there a thread talking about this? I'm off to search for it.
