Sage_MC video tools setup question

I'm having trouble setting up sageMC video tools. I just downloaded and installed the latest sage v6.015 beta and the sage_MC_16x9 v6.3.

I installed Dirmon v0.6.2 and ImgBurn v 2.1.0.0. I ran through the setup script and added the videotools_stvi.xml via the advanced menu. I enabled dvd burning in the Sage_MC menu and can see the burn to dvd option in the "send to" menu.

When I select the burn option, nothing happens. I also noticed that there is nothing in the "other programs" menu. Am I correct in guessing that there should be some reference to ImgBurn or Dirmon in the "other programs" menu?

Any suggestions would be great.

Step 1 would be to look in your C:\sageOthers and see if there's actually anything in there.

- If there isn't look for the dvdList.log file (should be SageTV\qdvdFolder) and post that for me to look at.

- If there is something in your sageOthers folder but its not showing up, look in your Sage.properties folder and see if "C:\\sageOthers" is there.

(this is all assuming you used the default paths)

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm not entirely sure what I did, but I now have a yellow icon in the other programs menu. It just stays yellow though (~10 min). Shouldnt it start processing and turn blue?

I attached the log file.

Ok, if shortcuts and jpgs are being created in your other programs folder but dirmon isn't processing them then it must be a problem with your dirmon setup. First of all, ensure that the perl2dvd process is setup correctly in dirmon. If it is, next make sure that you actually started dirmon by going to the last tab.

Hmmm, it says it’s running, but it doesn’t appear to be doing anything. Can you look in your SageTV\qdvdFolder and see if there are actually .qdvd files in there?

I think I got most of it up and running. I ended up completely unistalling EVERYTHING and re-doing the setup process. I can now burn to dvd, but I'm having sound issues. When I try to play one of the burned disks, there is no sound. I am assuming this is a codec issue, so I'll try to play around with those.
