6.0 Favorites issue /log file problem
Hi,
I have a problem with favotites not recording. A series, set to be #1 priority, and only shown once a day, is not being recorded every second day. It is set to keep ALL, on any channel, etc. It is only something i have noticed since upgrading to 6.0 (including 6.0.16) (well, actually wife noticed cause its her show!!) It was showing up in the scheduled recording list, but with a conflict icon (even though there was nothing recorded at the scheduled time (i.e. no manual records, or other shows scheduled) I tried looking at the log file to see why it didnt record, but it seems that after calling the epg update yesterday, the log file stopped being recorded. i.e. the last line in the log file was from 3pm yesterday, and logging did not resume until I restarted the service. (the epg updated correctly) Fri 12/8 15:09:08.458 08-12-2006 15:09:08,454 Rerouting console to C:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\SageTV\xmltv.console.log Is anyone else having favorites issues? or problems with xmltv and the log files? <edited to remove problem, i found solution for>

What EPG plugin are you using? It should be changed so that it doesn't reroute the console output. SageTV does that itself as part of the logging setup. If this plugin is doing that then it's disabling SageTV's logging.

Hi Narflex,
I am using the Demedrius xmltv import, although I havent touched it in about 2 years now. I might try the latest version of the importer and see if that fixes it.
