Reboot necessary to gain control of d11 via serial/usb

I have 4 d11-300's using USB/serial to control. I am finding that about once per week I have to reboot the Sage server to gain control back of my d11's. It seems to be a different receiver every time. Basically when I go to change a channel, Sage will show it is on MTV say when the STB is still tuned to NFL network. (not that I mind...NFL net is my favorite channel, but my wife gets aggravated.) Hmmm...maybe it's just a bug Sage wrote specifially for me.

Did you get this resolved by chance? I just wanted to say that I am also seeing something similar. At first I tried restarting the DirecTV box but that didn't help. I then closed SageTV and started it up again (PC was not rebooted). It started working again.

I'm guessing this has happened 2 or 3 times at this point. I've been using the cable since late October if I remember correctly. This happened with v5.x also. Are channel changes recorded in the SageTV log? |

Do either of you use the NFL Sunday ticket by chance for DirectTV?

Make sure to upgrade to the final version. No more beta. If the issue still exists then contact support with the issue along with a debug log. Consult the FAQ on how to create the debug log.

I was running the final as soon as it was released. I'm also familiar with generating the debug log so I guess I'll give that route a try. I'll just have to leave it on (debug log) until the problem crops up again. I realize that this is the beta section but the original thread was created here so that's why I figured I'd respond to it.
