Possible network encoder reconnect issue

The HDHomeRun appears as a network encoder to Sage. A local application SageTV_HDHomeRun.exe is the sage 'interface' to the HDHR.

If I stop SageTV_HDHomeRun.exe and the restart it Sage appears to reconnect properly (by checking the tuner status in Sage) but I get an error message about a Network Error when I try to record anything on that tuner. The only way to fix the problem is to restart Sage, ensuring that SageTV_HDHomeRun.exe is already running.

I seems to me that Sage should be able to handle the temporary disconnection of network encoders.

Before I submit a bug report for this (I'm on RC2 btw) can someone confirm that my logic is correct, and that I've not missed something?

Andy.

EDIT: Arghh! - I put this in the wrong forum. Would one of the mods please be kind enough to move it to the Beta forum for me?
