Thumbs up Thank You! (Mac Placeshifter)

I've been incredibly busy since late August and it's safe to say that I've been ignoring my HTPC and most things related to SageTV. I was incredibly surprised to see news of the release of the Mac Placeshifter client in my newsreader app this morning.

Thank you! I never thought I'd see such a thing. I've already downloaded and used it. I'm very much looking forward to not having to reboot my MacBook Pro into Windows to use SageTV placeshifting.

Agreed. I was almost tempted to ask for the source and port it!.

I was really looking forward to using this at work on my shiny Mac, yet forgot to turn off my extender this AM

You ought to thank Sage properly by buying another license.

Love too, but since I live alone, no reason to own a Server+Client+Extender+Placeshifer license.. I just got to remember to turn one off when im not using it

Not sure, but I think you can turn off the extender from the web interface plugin, under connected clients, or web remote or somtehing like that...
