Already broke Streamzap remote.
Well had it a few weeks and I already broke it, My 4 year old threw it against the fireplace and it literaly broke in 3 peices.
Which is forcing me to push up my plans to do Girder with Streamzap Raw mode. This leads me to my question, Does anyone who has done this have any pointers On how to do this, I purchased girder But have yet to install it, I would like some pointers on girder and sage, Streamzap and girder, etc.. Any insight is greatly appreciated. BTW,I didnt like the streamzap remote anyways, To few buttons, I think My ExDVD player remote will make a great replacement. |

I think there's a Girder/Sage/Streamzap (though not RAW mode) guide on http://www.sage-community.org

Problem is, It seems that may be out of date, Seeing That Sage now supports streamzap oob now. Also, It doesnt do me a whole lot of good because I no longer have a streamzap remote, I have managed to get Girder to see the the new remote, But I cant seem to get sage to respond to girder, Not sure why yet.

Actually, That guide is helping, It turns out that I forgot to enable "Sendmessage Plugin". Btw Stanger, Is that guide yours? If so are you aware that you jpgs arent loading.

Well, I wrote it a while ago
And as for it not communicating with Sage, other than enabling the plugin, make sure the targets are right. I haven't had to change mine, so the guide should still be OK in that regard. As for the images, I fixed them now (well some of them at least) |

Dont get me wrong its a pretty awesome guide, and is helping me out a great deal, If you would like I will send you the info on how to finish things up with the raw mode after I figure it all out myself.
It seems to me the streamzap has a great deal of potential as a $24 ir receiver for people like me (Being people who already purchased girder for other projects.) with this raw mode. |
